Something about the rear glass looks off, like it's extra bulbous. Is this what a Fox looks like with no spoiler? Or is it some lesser-known body style? !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

I think the glass actually is different. The Mustang's is flat. I think.
They should've just kept importing them from Germany, but supposedly it got too expensive.

The main difference between the Capri's hatch and the Mustang's hatch was that the Capri had more glass.

That's funny because I knew a guy with a Capri in high school and I swear it didn't have that much glass. He might have had a spoiler on there though..

He might have possibly swapped hatches with a Mustang.
The JBA Dominator Mustang ran around with a Capri hatch for a while.

Actually, I think some Capri were made with the normal Stang hatch (it could have been an option).

Early 79-82 Capris had regular style hatch glass
in 83 they switched to the "bubble-back" style hatch, rear bumper section, and taillights

The rear glass is indeed bulbous and a Capri only thing. It was only around for like 3 years or so IIRC. Always liked it.
